Poland – Refuse and waste related services – Świadczenie usługi odbioru i zagospodarowania odpadów komunalnych powstających na terenie Gminy Kalwaria Zebrzydowska oraz utworzenie i obsługa Punktu Selektywnej Zbiórki Odpadów Komunalnych

The subject of the contract is the provision of services for the collection and disposal of municipal waste (non-segregated and segregated) from residential and non-residential properties where municipal waste is generated in the area of the Gmina Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, as well as the creation and operation of a Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point. The scope of the contract includes, in particular: a) collection and disposal of municipal waste from residential and non-residential properties where municipal waste is generated b) equipping residents with bags for selective waste collection c) preparation and delivery of municipal waste collection schedules d) performance of reporting e) establishment and operation of the Office for the Management of the Municipal Waste Management System f) generation and distribution of barcodes among property owners. Reasons for not dividing the contract into lots: The contracting authority has decided not to divide the contract into lots, as the subject of the contract involves the comprehensive provision of municipal waste collection and disposal services, as well as the creation and operation of the PSZOK, which form a functionally interrelated whole. The implementation of the contract by a single contractor will ensure a uniform system for waste collection, resident support, and clear responsibility for the proper fulfilment of obligations. Dividing the contract into lots would require the coordination of several contractors, increase supervision costs, and pose the risk of disputes regarding responsibility for the implementation of individual tasks.
