Netherlands – Sewer construction work – Componistenbuurt rioolvervanging

This contract relates to the Componistenbuurt sewer replacement project. It concerns approximately 2.8 km of sewer replacement in the Waldeck district. The work is located in the Loosduinen district. The existing sewer will be replaced in the traditional way and a surface water sewer will also be installed. The total area of the works amounts to approximately 30,000 m2. The civil engineering activities required fall within the scope of the contract and mainly consist of: - Breaking up (asphalt) surfacing, foundation layers and edging; - Carrying out civil engineering and landscaping groundworks; - Draining groundwater; - Removing and installing concrete foul water sewers; - Installing surface water sewer by PP; - Removing and installing concrete culverts; - Relining sewers of various dimensions; - Removing and installing house and manhole connections; - Supplying and installing edging and element surfacing; - Supplying and installing asphalt surfacing and base courses; - Removing and installing street furniture; - Installing (additional) green provisions incl. planting groundworks; - Traffic measures and additional works.
