Description

At HOCH Health Ostschweiz, various processes use mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. Currently, these are both Android (Samsung) and iOS (Apple) devices. Defined device types:

. Business Smartphone

. PUT-Tablet normal (Bedside)

. PUT-Tablet Prestige (Bedside)

. Business Tablet

. Rugged Tablet

The IT Department (DIT) procures, manages, and maintains these devices centrally via the EMM solution «Workspace ONE UEM» from Omnissa. Another important, central component regarding security and operation is the «Samsung Knox» platform. In addition to a normal ongoing lifecycle and growth, more extensive device renewals and expansions are planned. Furthermore, a standardisation of the portfolio to Android-based smartphones and tablets is being pursued. With the present tender, the contractual basis for future procurements from Samsung mobile devices and defined operating services from 1 January 2027 is to be created. The aim is a long-term available, centrally manageable and securely operable device portfolio with clear service, lifecycle and sustainability services. The devices must be integrable into the existing enterprise mobility infrastructure based on Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM and Samsung Knox. For the tender, the client has specified corresponding Samsung device models. For follow-up orders, a corresponding possible follow-up model applies. In the event of a model being discontinued, the provisions for follow-up models according to the specification chapter 5.3.3 apply. The cooperation will be regulated in a framework agreement (procurements) and a service agreement (operating services), each with a five-year term, which can be optionally extended twice for two years each. The actual procurements will be made during the contract period as needed by HOCH Health Ostschweiz. For the planning of replacement and new procurements, in particular the lifecycle replacement (internal lifecycle min. 5 years), the medium-term planning as well as the defined end-of-support (EOS) dates of the devices form an essential basis. Procurements generally take place in 3-4 larger bulk orders per year. It should also be possible to process individual procurements of deviating special versions via the framework agreement. Existing devices will continue to be operated until the need-based replacement procurement. The new supplier must not take over any operating, support or repair services for devices not delivered by them. Defective existing devices will be processed within the warranty period via the existing processes; outside the warranty, new devices will generally be replaced. Procurement subject composition:
