The State of Hesse and the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen intend to construct a new institute building for the Department of Psychology. The building is to house the currently only German Excellence Cluster with a psychological focus. In this cluster, research using the most modern methods of behavioural and neuroscience will be conducted. The processing of the research programme in interdisciplinary teams requires an expansion and spatial integration of researchers from various specialisations in an integrative building, room and large equipment concept. The building is to be constructed at the northern boundary of the Campus of Humanities and Social Sciences in the area of the Philosophicum I, in the immediate vicinity of the "International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture" (GCSC). Negotiated procedure pursuant to § 17 VgV for the award of project management services.
