Germany – Guidance and counselling services – Berufspraktische Orientierung nach § 16 SGB II i.V. mit § 45 SGB III

New Paths District Bergstraße -Municipal Job Centre-, an approved municipal body under the Social Code Book II (SGB II), intends to award a measure for activation, vocational orientation and integration into the training and job market for people with a refugee and migration background at the locations Bergstraße (Lot 1), Ried (Lot 2), Viernheim (Lot 3) and Odenwald (Lot 4). The aim of the measure is to improve the integration opportunities of the target group described under B.1.2 by combining vocational language promotion, individual integration support, company-based testing, and the gradual integration into training, qualification and employment. The participants are to be supported in particular in order to: • develop their linguistic skills in a professional context, • acquire knowledge of the German training and job market, • develop vocational perspectives, • strengthen social and cultural orientation, • reduce individual barriers to placement, • gain practical experience in companies, and • be sustainably integrated into training, employment or further follow-up support measures. Placement in socially insured employment, training or further qualification measures is to be aimed for.
