Switzerland – Construction work – MP-170014 Wildtierüberführung Biberlikopf, Los Holzbau

The Wildtierkorridor GL 06 Biberlikopf is a corridor of supraregional importance, which is also interrupted by the Nationalstrasse N03. A wildlife crossing is to be realised for the renovation. The chosen structure consists of a three-hinged arch made of glued laminated timber beams with a span of 57.3 m. The horizontal thrust of the arch is absorbed by means of tension bands under the Nationalstrasse. The foundation is ensured by means of concrete piles. The creation of a wooden screen protection along the N03 and the laying of the wildlife fence are also the subject of the present services. Furthermore, drainage pipes of third parties within the perimeter are to be adapted. The project is planned using the BIM method. The procurement and execution are carried out model-based. The main works will be divided into 2 lots (Baumeister and Holzbau), which will be tendered separately. The lots include, among others, the following works/elements (list not exhaustive):

Lot Baumeister:

* Main installation, preparatory works

* Demolition and reconstruction of service lines

* Concrete piles

* Excavation / backfilling

* Excavation pits incl. dewatering

* In-situ concrete foundation strips incl. sealing

* Backfilling of foundations

* Tension band (hammer drilling, prestressing)

* Foundation brackets for screen protection on the crossing

* Backfilling of arch structure

* Demolition and reconstruction of wildlife fence

* Demolition and reconstruction of guide barriers

* New construction of screen protection along N03

Lot Holzbau:

* Installation for timber construction works

* Arch and cross beams made of glued laminated timber incl. threaded rods/rod dowels

* Steel hinges/steel components for connecting timber beams

* Glued laminated and plywood panels as arch covering

* Special transports and lifting process of timber construction during night-time full closures

* Portal cladding

* Sealing of timber arch construction

* Timber and steel construction of screen protection on crossing
