Netherlands – Construction work – Bouwteampartner parkeergebouw Poort van Hoorn
Description
The municipality of Hoorn is implementing a comprehensive redevelopment of the station area as part of the Poort van Hoorn project. In the coming years, various developments will take place in the station area in the fields of housing, facilities, mobility, and public space. As part of this transformation, the municipality is constructing a parking building on the north side of the station area for both cars (P+R) and bicycles, including the public transport bicycle, which will serve as a hub for further urban development. The new parking garage, with 6 floors and a bicycle parking basement, will make it possible to renovate existing surface parking lots and free up space for planned housing and high-quality development of the area within the Poort van Hoorn-station area project. This will achieve a compact and efficient mobility solution that contributes to Hoorn's ambition to develop into a liveable and accessible city. See tender documents.
