Germany – Contractor's all-risk insurance services – Projektversicherung Generalsanierung (GSH) Bremen-Bremerhaven

DB InfraGO AG plans the general renovation of the high-performance corridor (GSH) Bremen - Bremerhaven. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 898 million. Of this, approximately EUR 50 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A currently planned construction period until 30.04.2028 is anticipated. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type L) In the liability insurance, the cover amount per claim is EUR 25,000,000 in total for personal, property, and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate cover amount per claim of EUR 10,000,000 in total for property and financial losses is available. The aforementioned sums are tripled. The Extendend Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible amounts to at least EUR 25,000. The deductible is waived for personal injuries. The extended planning cover is included in the planning liability insurance. As part of the extended planning cover, the deductible amounts to EUR 100,000.
