Netherlands – Engineering works and construction works – Herinrichting Overdie-West, gemeente Alkmaar

The Overdie-West district in the municipality of Alkmaar is facing a comprehensive redevelopment. The current sewerage system and a large part of the public space have reached the end of their technical service life and will be replaced. The work mainly consists of:

- clearing the site;

- removing and installing sewerage, house connections, inspection chambers, manholes, and manhole connections;

- removing and installing paving, edgings, gullies, and edge closures;

- sawing and breaking up asphalt paving;

- carrying out earthworks, including excavation, transport, and processing of soil;

- applying dewatering;

- supplying and installing foundation materials;

- removing and installing road markings and street furniture;

- supplying, installing, and moving public lighting;

- applying traffic measures;

- carrying out additional works.
