France – Legal services – PRESTATIONS JURIDIQUES EN CONSEIL ET CONTENTIEUX

This framework agreement covers the provision of legal and litigation services on behalf of the European Investment Fund (FEI) in the areas of legal advice, on the one hand, and legal representation, on the other. Two types of services are therefore expected:

- Legal advice and assistance in the form of written consultations (notes, drafting of legal documents, etc.) to be addressed to FEI. By legal advice, we mean all types of advice and consultations, whether in person, by post, by telephone or electronically, drafting of acts or various documents, participation in working meetings or meetings with third parties, without this list being exhaustive, including all the obligations that usage and ethics imply and result from these services.

- Legal representation in accordance with the provisions of Article 411 of the Code of Civil Procedure: "The mandate for legal representation entails the power and duty to perform the acts of the procedure in the name of the mandatee." The service provider must be able to intervene before all levels of judicial and administrative jurisdictions, with the exception of appeals before the Council of State or the Court of Cassation.
