NEW Netz GmbH is a regional distribution network operator and basic responsible metering point operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. As a subsidiary of NEW AG, it is responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance and expansion of the electricity, natural gas and drinking water networks. With a supply network of around 10,000 kilometres of power lines, over 4,300 kilometres of natural gas lines and 3,000 kilometres of drinking water lines, NEW Netz GmbH ensures a safe and reliable supply of energy and drinking water to its customers. It is represented at several locations, including Erkelenz, Geilenkirchen, Grevenbroich, Mönchengladbach and Viersen. NEW Netz GmbH is divided into the departments of electricity, gas and water networks, which are made available to all market participants. It also takes on the role of the basic responsible metering point operator in the electricity sector. As part of the NEW Group, NEW Netz GmbH employs around 650 staff and makes an important contribution to the regional energy infrastructure. The subject of this tender is the following services: Exchange of electricity, gas and water meters in the supply area of NEW Netz GmbH in the years 2027 and 2028. Lot allocation: Lots 1-3: Exchange of electricity meters (mME and iMS) Lots 4-6: Exchange of gas and water meters. The quantities are to be taken from the individual lots. NEW AG supports the contracting authority NEW Netz GmbH in the implementation of the procurement procedure and has been authorised in particular to act as a contact point for the bidders on behalf of and on behalf of the contracting authority and to award the contract on behalf of and on behalf of the contracting authority.
