Health Nord gGmbH (GeNo) is the leading provider of vocational training for healthcare professions and nursing in Bremen and has organisationally consolidated all of its initial, continuing and advanced training in the Bildungsakademie. In total, GeNo operates nine vocational schools. To ensure that the Bildungsakademie of GeNo can meet the increasing demands in initial, continuing and advanced training in the healthcare sector in the future, the Senate of Bremen has decided on a central site solution for the Bildungsakademie of Gesundheit Nord. In the coming years, the Bildungsakademie will have to be relocated as part of the development of the New Hulsberg Quarter (NHV). The Bildungsakademie is to be permanently located in the future in House 7 (a listed building on the KBM hospital site) and a supplementary new building east of the planned clinic car park in the NHV. A private investor is to assume both the client function and the complete financing of the project. For the preparation until the end of construction of the measure, the AG needs support.
