The city of Wermelskirchen intends to award general planning services for the renovation and new construction at the site of the comprehensive school Wirtsmühler Straße 12 / Weyersbusch 13 in Wermelskirchen. The secondary school will close in the 2028/29 school year. In the current 2025/26 school year, there are still 12 classes to be accommodated, the number of which will continue to decrease over the coming years until 2028/29.
