Belgium – Architectural and related services – OUDENAARDE - aanstellen studieteam voor Nieuwbouw onthaalgebouw met ateliers voor het Atheneum - campus Bergstraat

On the campus Bergstraat domain of the Atheneum in Oudenaarde, several existing workshops will be replaced by a new building. The rear part, where the current workshops are located, will be sold as an extension to the developments at Scheldekop. This results in a construction project at the front of the domain, near the refectory building. The demolition is included in the contract. The project involves the construction of a compact volume with a reception area, administration, and workshops for woodwork, auto, mechanics, and electricity. The new building must give a new impetus to the campus. It must be the showcase of the site. By giving the workshops a prominent place on the domain, we want to show what the school stands for. Additionally, the building must also extend a welcome to visitors to the campus, among other things, by forming a clear reception and making the site legible.

The contract: The total project includes:

- the demolition of G02

- Construction of a reception building with practical workshops (wood, coachwork, mechanics, bicycle, electricity...)

- Landscaping around the new building

- sale of parts of the plot (outside the scope of the contract)
