France – Traffic-flow measuring system – RENOUVELLEMENT DES SYSTEMES DE MESURES DU VEHICULE DE MESURE DE LA GEOMETRIE DES VOIES

Within the framework of the maintenance projects for the heritage infrastructure of the RATP network, the present contract concerns the renewal of the measurement systems of the V355 vehicle as detailed in the price schedule, manufacturing deadline (Annex 1). The V355 vehicle is the reference means used by the Track Unit for the research, measurement and monitoring of track geometry defects on the Metro and RER networks. It allows the geometric state of the infrastructure to be checked and any deviations likely to impact safety, availability and ride quality to be identified. The V355 is equipped with a measurement system combining laser triangulation and an inertial unit, enabling complete acquisition of the geometric parameters of the track. The data collected during the measurement campaigns are analysed to detect defects, monitor their evolution over time and, if necessary, trigger maintenance actions or dispatches for out-of-limit values. The operation of the V355 is based on approximately 45 annual measurement campaigns, with a frequency of between one and four passes per line per year, in accordance with national practices for monitoring railway infrastructure. These campaigns provide a comprehensive view of the geometric state of the network and serve as a decision-making tool for planning maintenance operations. This consultation will result in a single-supplier framework agreement with purchase orders, including a minimum and maximum amount. It should be noted that the required turnover must represent one and a half times the maximum annual amount allocated.
