Germany – Engineering services – HWGK-F GF 15550 Oberer Neckar

Landesbetrieb Gewässer beim Regierungspräsidium StuttgartGermanyPublished on May 26, 2026
No deadline given

Description

In Baden-Württemberg, there are comprehensive high-water hazard maps (HWGK) for approximately 11,300 kilometers of rivers, which are to be progressively updated. The HWGK meet the requirements of the EU Floods Directive as well as the very high requirements of §65 of the Baden-Württemberg Water Act. They have direct legal effect, which is why the quality requirements are correspondingly high. For approximately 224 kilometers of watercourses in the Upper Neckar catchment area, the existing HWGK are to be updated. For this purpose, hydraulic calculations (2-dimensional, unsteady) are to be carried out in the specified procedure. All hydraulically relevant structures in and on the watercourse and on the floodplains (e.g. buildings, diversions, ditches) are to be taken into account. The results are to be transferred into the HWGK data standard and submitted in the specified data format. The hydrological bases will be provided. /// The results of the initial HWGK are freely accessible and can be retrieved under https://www.hochwasser.baden-wuerttemberg.de/.
