A Supervisory Construction Management (OBL) in the fields of construction and operational and safety equipment (BSA) at the Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) oversees the overall management and coordination of infrastructure projects in the national road network. It is responsible for the implementation and coordination between the client, planners, construction managers and contractors. In the BSA (operational and safety equipment) field, the OBL additionally coordinates technical systems such as tunnel technology, power supply, signalling or control systems and supervises tests and commissioning. This requires in-depth technical knowledge, experience in project management and a good understanding of ASTRA guidelines and SIA standards.
