The city of Minden plans to renovate and refurbish the final part of the town hall. The site is located in the city centre of Minden. Location: Kleiner Domhof 17, 32423 Minden, site area approx. 56,042 m². The town hall complex in the Rathausquartier, between Scharn/Markt, the squares "Kleiner Domhof" and "Großer Domhof", and the street "Am Rathaus", has been used in its current form since the mid-1970s. The city council of Minden decided in February 2026 to implement the 3rd phase of the town hall renovation. The aim is to renovate and refurbish building sections D, E and F at Großer Domhof. The other building sections have already been completed and are therefore not included in this measure. The construction work is planned to be carried out in one phase. As part of this tendering procedure, the building design for the renovation of the outer shell of the remaining sections D, E and F is being tendered.
