With the help of federal and Baden-Württemberg state funding, the existing and currently emerging fibre-optic networks from the "White Spots" programme are to be further expanded as part of the "Grey Spots" programme. Subsequently, the networks from the Grey Spots programme are to be leased to a telecommunications company and operated by it. The networks already built and also operated in this early phase of expansion ("White Spots") are not part of this tender.
