Germany – Insurance services – Luftfahrtbetriebshaftpflichtversicherung inkl. Terrorhaftpflichtversicherung für den Flughafen BER für 2027 und 2028

The subject of the procurement procedure is the aviation liability insurance including terrorism liability insurance (hereinafter: "aviation liability insurance") for BER Airport for the years 2027 and 2028 incl. the optional co-insurance for the ILA 2028 event liability insurance. The initial contract period is one year and begins on 1 January 2027. The contract renews for an additional year upon expiry of the contract period, unless it is terminated in writing with a notice period of 6 months before the end of the contract period. The maximum contract period is 2 years, so that the contractual relationship ends at the latest on 31 December 2028. The sum insured for the aviation liability insurance is EUR 1.3 billion incl. a terrorism liability insurance according to AVN52 in the amount of USD 350 million. Insured is Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, 12521 Berlin including all existing and new subsidiaries and legally dependent branches and agencies. Coverage of airport-specific risks, in particular the operational liability, the employer's liability, aviation events, the private liability for business trips, the hunting liability, the custodial liability (for aircraft), aviation product liability and the environmental liability insurance (basic coverage).
