Slovakia – Construction work – D1 Turany - Hubová, stavebné práce

The subject of the contract is the construction of a motorway section D1 Turany — Hubová with a total length of 13,53 km, including the tunnels Korbeľka and Havran. In the proposed motorway section, there are a total of ten permanent bridge structures, four of which are directly on the motorway and two are eco-ducts. In addition to the permanent bridges, a temporary bridge over the river Váh made of steel assembled structures is proposed, which is in the routes of temporary access during the construction of the motorway. To eliminate land take, to ensure the stability of the body of the motorway D1 and to protect against the effects of large waters, retaining and breast walls are proposed. As part of the construction of D1, 3 retaining walls and 2 breast walls are proposed. The construction area is crossed by various overhead and underground engineering networks - water pipes, gas pipes, high-voltage lines and VVN, VN, NN distribution lines, long-distance and local telecommunications lines and distribution lines. All affected lines will be relocated or protected to the extent required by the construction in accordance with the requirements of the individual operators. In the final section of the motorway D1 Turany — Hubová, there is a proposed Maintenance and Operation Centre Švošov, accessible by a new bridge over the river Váh, within reachable distance from the Hubová junction. The subject of the contract is precisely defined in Annex 1 to Annex 5 of the tender documents.
