Germany – Landscaping work for gardens – Aufforstung auf der Kläranlage Hamm-West

The sewage treatment plant Hamm-West of the Lippeverband is planning an expansion and improvement of the plant's capacity. The main measures include the renewal of the screening plant (already under construction), the sand trap and the activated sludge system, as well as the expansion of the final settling tank and the construction of a 4th purification stage. These measures are necessary to ensure safe operation of the sewage treatment plant. The tree-covered areas affected by the measures at the KA Hamm-West require compensation. The interventions in nature and landscape will be compensated by reforestation, which will be spatially separate from the construction site. The subject of this tender are the following services: Reforestation. The planting will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the landscape management plan, as well as the attached planting plans, which provide for shrub planting or forest. The planting is to be carried out in the frost-free period in autumn/winter 2026. Only provenance-certified planting material is to be used. The certificates are to be submitted prior to planting. The scope of services includes the preparatory measures for the reforestation, as well as the delivery of plants, planting and maintenance work for the area. For all shrub plantings, an initial 1-year completion maintenance is tendered. After the acceptance of the shrub plantings after the completion maintenance in autumn 2027, the shrubs are to be maintained for a further two years (development maintenance). The maintenance of the shrub plantings thus ends after the three-year total maintenance in autumn 2029. The maintenance of the sowing and operating areas also ends after the final acceptance of the shrub plantings in autumn 2029. The basis of the offer are the current VOB and the applicable DIN standards, in particular DIN 18320, DIN 18916, DIN 18917, and DIN 18918.
