Bulgaria – Roof works and other special trade construction works – „Текущ ремонт на покрив на 94 СУ „Димитър Страшимиров“, УПИ I, кв. 46, гр. София, ул. „511“ № 22, СО - район „Слатина“

The subject of the present public procurement contract includes the execution of construction and installation works for the current repair of the pitched roof of the building of 94 S.U. "Dimitar Strashimirov", UPI I, district 46, Sofia, ul. "511" No. 22, SO - "Slatina" district. The building on which the current repair is carried out is a construction of the fourth category according to Art. 137, para. 1, item 4, letter "b" of the Spatial Planning Act (ZUT) and Art. 8, para. 2, item 3 of Ordinance No. 1 of 30.07.2003 on the nomenclature of types of constructions. The repair is a current repair within the meaning of § 5, item 43 of the additional provisions of the ZUT, for which no building permit is required. The construction is part of a massive, two-storey building for public service with an educational purpose, without a basement. The building includes: classrooms, offices, foyers, staircases, toilets, and a medical centre. The subject of the contract is the current repair of the roof of the educational building, without affecting the load-bearing structure and the internal layout. The envisaged repair does not change the purpose of the building and aims to maintain it in good condition. The existing roof is pitched, with a slope of the surfaces of around 33% (18°). It is built of a wooden structure and covered with ceramic tiles. The eaves are clad with sawn timber. There are metal gutters and downpipes, which drain freely onto the ground. After the roof is opened, the condition of the wooden cladding is checked. Activities related to the load-bearing wooden structure are not included in the subject of the contract. The building is massive, two-storey, without a basement, with a built-up area of 1,444 sq. m and a gross floor area of 4,332 sq. m. An Act for Public Municipal Property No. 1768 of 21.05.2018 has been drawn up for it. The current repair affects the pitched roof with a wooden structure and ceramic tile covering, with the aim of maintaining the building in good condition. With the envisaged repair, the load-bearing structure of the building is not affected, existing walls are not moved, and no openings are made in them, nor is the purpose of the premises and the loads in them changed. The subject of the present public procurement contract includes: - Demolition of the roof covering, cladding, gutters, rainwater collection boxes and downpipes; - Execution of construction and installation works, including delivery of materials, mechanisation, labour and all services and activities necessary for the execution, in accordance with the technical specification and the bill of quantities; - Delivery and installation of roof covering, cladding, gutters, rainwater collection boxes and downpipes; - Guarantee liability for the periods of the guarantee terms offered by the Contractor for the different types of construction and installation works, facilities and construction sites, in accordance with the conditions and requirements of Ordinance No. 2 of 2003 on the commissioning of constructions in the Republic of Bulgaria and minimum guarantee terms for completed construction and installation works, facilities and construction sites, in connection with Art. 160, para. 4 and 5 of the ZUT. The scope of the contract includes 38 positions according to the Bill of Quantities and the Technical Specification.
