Description

The purpose of this award procedure is to acquire a structure to support a number of 74 3He neutron detectors in the optimal configuration for detecting neutron emissions, this new assembly being referred to hereafter as “ELIGANT-TN 2.0”. The subject of this procurement procedure therefore covers the supply, installation and testing of this support structure in the E9 Experimental Area of the ELI-NP Experimental Building, using the 3He neutron detectors already in the possession of the department. The acquisition thus targets a critical component of the ELI-NP infrastructure, facilitating not only the commissioning of the Gamma Beam System (GBS) in the first instance, but also achieving a superior quality of the recorded experimental data and increased operational flexibility for the nuclear physics applications to be subsequently deployed within the facility. In accordance with the provisions of art. 160 of Law no. 98/2016, as amended and supplemented, interested economic operators will request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation up to 20 days before the deadline for submission of tenders. The contracting authority will respond clearly and fully to all requests for clarification/additional information addressed by the economic operators, on the 12th day before the deadline for submission of tenders, in accordance with art. 161 of Law no. 98/2016, as amended and supplemented, corroborated with art. 27 para. (3) of H.G. no. 395/2016, as amended and supplemented.
