France – Assembly of metal structures – PROJET RNG – NATION PHASE 1 – Lot T05 : Travaux d’aménagement dans le cadre de la rénovation et la modernisation des quais du RER A à Nation

The Nation station represents one of the most remarkable examples of the major central stations on Line A of the RER. It was built under the Place de la Nation and, in 1969, was the first station on the central Parisian section to be completed. After nearly 40 years of existence, the station still has arrangements very close to the original design intentions. The objective of the RNG (Gare Renovation) project at Nation is a complete renovation of the stop, including:

- the removal of asbestos from certain parts of the structure (ventilation ducts and tile adhesives)

- the removal of lateral fittings on the piers

- the removal of metal structures located on the platforms (cantilevers, false ceilings)

- the installation of a SEL A type watertightness in the vault

- a complete paint job in the vault

- the creation of architectural structures on the piers integrating all services intended for travellers

- the renovation of platform floors

- the arrangement of access corridors to the platforms (partially)

The present contract concerns, in particular:

- the manufacture and installation of micro-perforated metal cladding incorporating acoustic treatment on the piers of the platforms, including the structure that supports all these works

- the manufacture and installation of support arches for equipment

- the manufacture and installation of the bases

- the renovation of the platform floors and gutters and platform access, including localised ground tanking

- the connection of the platform drainage networks to the sub-platform

- the renovation of technical rooms at platform level.
