The VWS wishes to utilise field expertise to compile a list of critical medicines and medical devices for crisis situations. The crisis list focuses on products essential for care delivery due to a crisis. These are products that cannot be easily missed during a crisis and whose shortage can have direct consequences for patients or the continuity of care. The crisis list serves as a basis for measures aimed at increasing the resilience of the care chain. These may include measures in the areas of crisis preparedness, stockpiling, or policy development, including scalable or standby production. The list thus serves as a strategic instrument for preparing for future disruptions and crisis situations. See the Descriptive Document for a further description of the assignment. The work to be carried out is divided into steps:

Step 1. Establish scenarios for different types of crises

Step 2. Establish expert group(s)

Step 3. Compile crisis list

Step 4. Advice on use/volume per crisis

Step 5. Deliver concept report and final crisis list

Step 6. Final report and presentation

The final report must be delivered by 31 October 2027 at the latest. The estimated contract value is 300,000,- excluding VAT. See the Descriptive Document for a further description of the quantity/volume.
