France – Road transport services – Gestion logistique des tubes Acier-SCM-DA

In the course of its activities, GRDF installs steel tubes on its network as part of replacements or the creation of new networks. The steel tubes are 6 and 12 metres in length, mostly 12 metres. As part of a contract renewal, the Supply Chain Material Direction is looking for a service provider capable of managing the 12-metre-long steel tubes. This service includes:

- Upstream transport from the tube manufacturing plants located abroad (in Europe) to the service provider's storage site

- Provision of a storage platform with a useful outdoor space of 3 500m² + 500m² covered

- Stock management

- Transport to and from the coating service provider(s) located in France

- Distribution of tubes to GRDF agencies and subcontractors located in metropolitan France

- Traceability (per order/heat/lot)

- Supply of accessories to ensure good delivery (chock, batten, etc.)

- Tracking and monitoring of deliveries

The aim is to have a service provider capable of carrying out all of these services, in a secure framework, with respect for the quality of the product and a quality of delivery service to GRDF's internal customers.
