This is a service contract for the maintenance of the outdoor areas and war graves at the Buchenwald Memorial near Weimar. The Buchenwald Memorial covers an area of approximately 200 hectares with 27 buildings and building fragments, a memorial area, and two graveyards. The service contract to be awarded includes the entire property. The service to be provided includes the following key tasks: cleaning and maintenance of paths and squares (daily cleaning, spring cleaning), landscaping (area maintenance, green cutting, weed control), winter services. The following minimum staffing is required on site for the service: 5 specialists, 1 seasonal worker, 10 assistants. Contract start: 01.04.2027 Contract end: 31.03.2032 Contract duration: 5 years. Within the framework of a selection competition, interested companies have the opportunity to apply for the invitation to tender and to demonstrate their suitability to provide the service. Since the memorial is a sensitive area, performance specifications and drawings will only be made available upon invitation to tender.
