Germany – Building construction work – Errichtung von 2 Betriebsständen Reiherstiegschleuse in modularer Bauweise

Hamburg Port Authority AöRGermanyPublished on Jul 21, 2026
No deadline given

Description

Planning, delivery and commissioning of 2 modular control stations The Reiherstieg Lock is one of three flow locks in the Port of Hamburg and is used to influence the flow conditions and thus the sedimentation behaviour in the Port of Hamburg. The lock also separates small craft from large craft on the Süderelbe. This separation significantly contributes to safety in the Port of Hamburg. As part of the new planning and construction of the lock, two control stations (main and emergency control station) must be newly erected for this purpose. The control stations are used to control the lock elements and will be functionally designed as workplaces. The buildings will have typical characteristics, such as thermal envelope, in-house technology (HVAC, power) and physical visual connection to the outside; a detailed requirement specification is available and will be published to participants in the subsequent tender. The special feature of the planned objects is that the buildings must be constructed exclusively in modular construction. As a preparatory measure, both the foundations and the base plates will be prepared on site as an interface to the service provider of the modular buildings. The requested service provision will be carried out as a general contractor (GC) and essentially includes the following services. - Preparation and delivery of detailed designs (performance phases 01 - 05 according to § 34 HOAI 2021 for cost group 300, cost group 400; BIM based) - Preparation of a logistics concept for the delivery and commissioning of the modules - Commissioning and start-up of the modules incl. interface to on-site electrical engineering companies for controlling the lock and the corresponding elements and contractor-side provision of site managers - BIM-based revision and documentation Note on the performance inquiry: The premise of the HPA is that the planned sub-project for building construction with the specified quality requirements is to be carried out on schedule with possible time risks. The overall project includes the new construction of a lock. Parallel running sub-projects are: - Delivery and erection of the lock structure - New construction of road bridges - Sheet piling and retaining wall work - Foundation work new A 26 (external) Corresponding site set-up areas (SE) have limited capacities. Due to the above-mentioned sub-projects, a well thought-out overall concept for the execution of the required services is required. The bidder must provide an overall concept (planning, interface clarification, logistics, erection and commissioning) in the preparation of the offer, in which the client (C) recognises that the bidder has strategically planned in detail. The main focus here will be the logistics concept (type of transport, required SE dimensions, setting up the modules with heavy equipment, assembly of individual parts, etc.). It must be ensured that other sub-projects of the overall project are not or hardly affected. The same applies to modular construction, which must be carried out largely unhindered and continuously. Current timeline: - Tendering procedure: Q3 - Q4 / 2026 - foreseeable contract award: Q1 / 2027 - planning services until: Q4 / 2027 - execution period: Q2 - Q4 / 2028 - foreseeable commissioning: Q1 / 2029
