For the works on network connections in the supply area of ewb, external keys are needed for access to properties and rooms. The management of the keys during the project phase is labor-intensive, as various internal and external persons sometimes need access to the properties and operating rooms for an extended period. The trust of property owners in the current solution is low. In many cases, mechanical key safes with a code are mounted in the entrance area of the properties and keys are deposited there. It is not traceable who collects keys and for what period, and how the confidentiality of the codes is handled. To improve processes and create transparency, traceability, and trust of property owners in ewb's work, the process and the provided tools for key management should be optimized. ewb wants to procure a market-ready key deposit system as a standard solution, consisting of hardware (deposit box), software (administration) and services (training, support). A competent and reliable partner is sought for the delivery of the system components, implementation, as well as for 2nd and 3rd level support, maintenance, operation and spare parts delivery.
