Comprehensive structural engineering services for the renovation of the listed University Library City Centre, a reinforced concrete frame building with ribbed ceilings and a glass-aluminium curtain wall, constructed in 1961. This includes the comprehensive renovation of the building services, and the energy-efficient and heritage-compliant renovation of the building envelope, while retaining the structurally designed facade. The project aims to reorganise the use of the building, enhance the interior qualities, improve accessibility, and strengthen the relationship with the exterior. The structural engineering services to be procured relate to the comprehensive renovation of the existing building (approx. 7960 m² GFA). This does not include costs for potential construction price and client risks. The construction period is scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2028 to the fourth quarter of 2032. The planning will be carried out using the BIM method.
