The City of Nuremberg has taken on a responsible heritage of national significance with the buildings on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds. The Bahnhof Dutzendteich is the central point of contact for the visiting public of the Zeppelinfeld learning site. The planning area includes the former station building with open platform hall (West wing), two-storey central building and single-storey East wing. It also includes the associated outdoor facilities. The property runs along the tracks of Deutsche Bahn to the northeast; to the southwest it is bounded by Zeppelinstraße (total length approx. 220 m, width between approx. 18.0 m and 38.0 m). The green and traffic area located between Beuthener Straße and Zeppelinstraße can be included in the planning for the routing of paths, but otherwise does not fall within the area to be planned. The building itself measures an overall length of approx. 72.0 m; the wing buildings are approx. 11.0 m and 13.0 m wide respectively, the central building approx. 17.0 m. The platform hall and the single-storey East wing are not basemented. The central building is two-storey and basemented.
