City of Ostend attaches great importance to a warm and festive Christmas and end-of-year period. The Christmas lighting plays an essential role in this. The city wants to invest heavily in qualitative and attractive festive lighting in the coming years. This contract involves developing a comprehensive concept for Christmas lighting and decoration for the territory of the City of Ostend (with the exception of the city centre), as well as the full execution thereof (with the exception of the city centre). This includes, among other things: the placement and hanging, the control during the usage period, the maintenance and necessary repairs, and the removal after the end of the festive period. This contract involves Christmas lighting and decoration for the districts, not for the city centre. The delineation between the two zones has been indicated on a map and is part of the tender. The Christmas lighting and decoration in the city centre form a separate contract, with extra attention being paid to the tourist potential of this zone.
