Finland – Interpretation services – Tekoälyavusteinen tulkkauspalvelu työllisyyspalvelujen vieraskielisille asiakkaille

The Employment Services of the City of Helsinki offers employment services, among others, to foreign-language clients who do not have or have poor proficiency in Finnish or Swedish. Therefore, effective interpreting solutions are needed to support the communication between the client and the guiding employee, ensuring that foreign-language clients receive full benefit from the employment services. The City has existing interpreting service agreements for interpreting assistance in both on-site and remote interpreting. Therefore, the Employment Services of the City of Helsinki is procuring an AI-assisted interpreting service. The interpreting service must be able to provide interpreting in multiple languages. The service must utilise AI for real-time interpreting. The interpreting service must be trustworthy and protect privacy (the City of Helsinki's data protection requirements must be met and will be provided later separately). The service must be user-friendly for both clients and service providers, and the user interface can be used on different devices (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.).
