LOT 1: The construction of a third water chamber involves a structure as defined in Section 41 of the HOAI. The scope of services includes not only the construction of the third water chamber (including its statics) but also necessary pressure lines with all technical equipment, as well as electrical engineering, process control engineering, and EMSR engineering. This also includes plant components that are added during the planning phase by the bidder or for which the contracting authority decides to have them planned and executed because they are in a sensible technical context with the original planning task. The connection to the existing structure and the renovation of existing plant components during ongoing operations must be considered in the planning. LOT 2: As part of these measures (LOT 1), it should be examined whether the construction of a central drinking water softening plant is technically, economically, and legally feasible. The aim of the feasibility study is to create a sound basis for decision-making for political bodies and further planning.
