This is an AMENDMENT TO THE NOTICE published on 16.08.2024. Due to the change in the evaluation criteria of the original tender, this AMENDMENT NOTICE is being issued. This amendment notice aims to allow all interested companies that have not yet participated in the current tender or are no longer involved in the procedure to apply for the broadband tender procedure of the Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. Companies that have already applied as part of the first notice and are still involved in the procedure do not need to reapply; these companies will remain involved in the procedure. Companies that apply for participation in the negotiation procedure in response to this amendment notice will participate in a selection competition, in which bidders will be identified who will be invited to submit a bid. ======================================= The objective is to support an effective and technology-neutral broadband expansion in the Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte (hereinafter: “Granting Authority”) in the project area MSE32_04 for the establishment of a sustainable, future-proof and high-performance Gigabit broadband network (Gigabit network) to achieve comprehensive coverage. The Granting Authority has submitted a funding application as part of the federal funding programme “Promotion of the Gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany – Gigabit Guideline 2.0” and has been granted provisional funding. In addition, the Granting Authority has applied for co-financing under the “Guideline for the promotion of the Gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Gigabit funding guideline – GigabitFöRL M-V)”. The funding is to be provided through an investment grant in the amount of the so-called economic viability gap, i.e. in the amount of the difference between the net present value of all revenues and the net present value of the costs for network construction and operation.
