Non-open implementation competition according to RPW 2013 with a preceding selection and allocation procedure. "Windsbach sounds and lives I A house for music and togetherness, expansion, renovation and modernisation of the former town hall into a forum for music and encounter as well as reorganisation of the surrounding area" --- The competition will be followed by a negotiated procedure according to the VgV award regulation. --- The city of Windsbach intends to realign the existing town hall and the spatial and usage offer according to the changed requirements as a house for music and togetherness. The existing building is to be modernised in terms of construction, technology and energy. The existing town hall in Windsbach has been and is of central importance for social and cultural life in Windsbach and the region. In addition to the design of the open spaces in the immediate vicinity of the new forum for music and encounter, the open spaces in the wider surrounding area are to be reordered and equipped with suitable uses. The procedure is promoted within the framework of urban development funding by the Federal Government and the Free State. --- The subject of the competition is the architectural planning of the house for music and togetherness with the associated landscape planning in the vicinity of the building as well as the urban development and open space planning reorganisation of the surrounding areas. --- The entire competition area has a size of approximately 2.2 ha in total. --- The total budget for the project "A house for music and togetherness" amounts to a maximum of 9.1 million euros gross for cost groups 200 to 700.
