Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss einer nicht-exklusiven Rabattvereinbarung nach § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V zum Wirkstoff Dexamethason + Gentamicin, ATC S01CA21 für die Zeit 01.04.2026 - 31.03.2028 (zzgl. V.-Option 1x12 Monate)

Section 130a, paragraph 8, of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V) allows health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework discount contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, the DAK-Gesundheit regularly conducts substance-related formal tendering procedures in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the German Act Against Restraints of Competition (GWB). For medicines to be specified by the bidder in more detail in Annex 2 to the contract, containing the active substance Dexamethasone + Gentamicin, ATC S01CA21, the DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude discount contracts for medicines with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until the entry into force of new medicines discount contracts. A discount contract pursuant to the approval model for the aforementioned active substance will come into force for the first time on 01.04.2026 and will end on 31.03.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months). It will automatically end, regardless of this, with the entry into force of the exclusive contract.
