The Rhein-Kreis-Neuss intends to carry out the energy renovation and modernisation of the Dreifeldsporthalle of BTI Neuss. To take over the necessary architectural and engineering services, Rhein-Kreis-Neuss is looking for suitable contractors. The required services will be tendered separately in the following lots:

Lot 1: Building and Interior Design

Lot 2: Building Services Engineering

Lot 3: Structural Engineering and Building Physics

With this procedure, the services for Lot 1 are initially tendered:

Lot 1: Building and Interior Design

The Hammfeld-Halle was built in the early 1970s as a three-court hall with ancillary rooms and has a stand for 800 people, making it a assembly venue. The building is largely in its original condition; in particular, the facade, building envelope and technical equipment are outdated and energy-inefficient. The route is confusing, there is no clear main entrance and barrier-free sanitary facilities are not available. Overall, there is a high need for renovation and modernisation. Only the sports floor was renewed in 2023.

The planned measures include the energy upgrading of the building envelope and the comprehensive modernisation and reorganisation of the sanitary and changing areas. Barrier-free facilities for athletes and visitors are to be created and the pipework is to be centralised. In addition, central visitor sanitary facilities, a new foyer with cloakroom and a spacious multi-purpose room with kitchen and higher room ceiling will be created. This will have a transparent facade and a clearly visible new main entrance. Furthermore, a PV system and a green roof are planned, provided that the roof structure allows this and the costs for a necessary roof reinforcement do not exceed the budgeted costs. A partial replacement of the existing facade elements (exposed aggregate concrete panels) with translucent elements is to be examined. The roof openings of the flat roof in the changing area are to be adapted to the newly planned layout. The energy values of the outer shell result from the funding conditions and are shown in the energy concept, see Annex. It is intended to apply for funding under EnSanRR for the energy renovation of the existing building.
