The Kreisklinikum Siegen, as the contracting authority, is one of the largest employers in the region with its approximately 2,000 employees. The Kreis Siegen-Wittgenstein is the owner of the company. In 2025, approximately 25,000 patients were treated in-patient and around 67,000 patients out-patient at the Klinikum Siegen. Furthermore, the Klinikum Siegen is an Academic Teaching Hospital of the Philipps-Universität Marburg and has an affiliated Medical Care Centre (MVZ). As a specialist provider with over 600 beds in the somatic and psychiatric sectors, the Klinikum Siegen serves as a cornerstone of public services for the Siegen-Wittgenstein region and beyond. In a total of 15 specialist clinics, our patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team at the highest medical level. As part of this procurement procedure, the services of a comprehensive textile supply for the contracting authority, the Kreisklinikum Siegen, are being tendered. The contract includes the demand-oriented comprehensive textile supply with contractor-owned laundry for the wards and area and occupational clothing, including the provision of a room system for the controlled removal and return of clothing, as well as the processing and transport of small quantities of contractor-owned laundry and other textiles from the locations listed in the tender documents, in accordance with this specification.
