The Bavarian State Forests (BaySF) intend to procure and implement an integrated production planning and control system (PPS) for the digital planning, control, execution, and evaluation of forestry measures. The aim of the project is the comprehensive digitalisation and optimisation of the strategic, operational, and dispositional processes of forest management, as well as the replacement of existing standalone solutions and media discontinuities by a central, integrated system. The PPS is to support, in particular, the planning of measures, resource and capacity control, mobile and offline-capable work processes in the forest, collaboration with external service providers, the integration of GIS and SAP systems, and comprehensive reporting. The implementation will take place in a modular and stepwise manner as part of a competitive dialogue. The subject of the procurement includes, in addition to the software, necessary implementation, integration, project management, training, operation, and software maintenance services.
