The connecting channel in Bremerhaven links the south-eastern Old Harbour with the north-western New Harbour. This connecting channel is to be renovated. This is particularly due to the progressive damage to the wooden foundation piles by the shipworm and the measured increasing deformation of the quay structure. The project will be carried out as an Integrated Project Alliance (IPA) within the framework of a multi-party contract. The contractor is expected to be willing to participate in this contract model and to collaborate physically at a common workplace provided by the contracting authority. In addition to the already commissioned planner, the contracting authority will select three alliance partners from the construction implementation. For this purpose, participation as a partner in the alliance contract will be awarded in this procedure in three lots. The award will be made in the lots of special foundation engineering, reinforced concrete construction and steel construction.
