The DB InfraGO AG plans the general renovation of the Lehrte-Berlin route. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 1,3 billion. Of this, approximately EUR 40 million has already been invoiced through an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 31.03.2028 is currently planned. The insurance contract will begin after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type L) In the liability insurance, the cover amount per claim is EUR 25,000,000 in total for personal, property, and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate cover amount per claim of EUR 10,000,000 in total for property and financial losses is available. The aforementioned amounts are tripled. The Extendend Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible amounts to at least EUR 25,000. The deductible does not apply to personal injuries. The extended planning cover is included in the planning liability insurance. Within the extended planning cover, the deductible amounts to EUR 100,000.
