The subject of the procurement is a vessel for the purposes of controlling the maritime area over which the Republic of Croatia has sovereignty, or sovereign rights and jurisdiction, in accordance with international law. Given that fisheries is a strategic sector of the economy in the Republic of Croatia, and in order to achieve sustainable development of fisheries, its economic, ecological and social roles and objectives of fisheries policy, it is necessary to conduct monitoring and control of the internal fishing zone which includes internal waters, and the external fishing zone which includes the territorial sea of the Republic of Croatia and the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Croatia. The overall length of the vessel must be at least 55m, the width must not be less than 9m, and it must have accommodation for at least 30 persons.
