The objective of the Landesgartenschau is to demonstrate the long-term benefits of the measure, to create acceptance and enthusiasm for the new park, and to highlight Günzburg as a resource-conscious, forward-looking city with a high recreational value. The task of the exhibition concept will be to present the Landesgartenschau 2029 as a premium event in Bavaria for different target groups and to position it against federal competitors. The exhibition concept for the Bayerische Landesgartenschau Günzburg 2029 is to be developed by a landscape architecture firm. As part of the exhibition conception, a guiding theme is sought that refers to the specific qualities of the location and meets the future requirements for urban greenery. The exhibition concept should reveal a clear "red thread" that runs through the entire Gartenschau site. Future topics such as sustainability, urban greenery, climate and species protection, water management and social justice are to be integrated into the exhibition conception. For the duration of the Landesgartenschau Günzburg 2029, temporary facilities and exhibition areas are planned on both the investment areas and the purely temporary areas (e.g. in the area of KB5 Günzpromenade / Indra site and KB 8 Hagenweide). The temporary exhibition contents will be distributed across the entire exhibition site and will be connected in terms of content by a meaningful exhibition concept. The award was made in stages. Stage 1: Preliminary planning (exhibition concept) LPh 2. Stage 2: Design planning and approval planning (LPh 3 and 4). Stage 3: Implementation planning (LPh 5), preparation (LPh 6) and involvement in the award (LPh 7). Stage 4: Site supervision - construction supervision and documentation (LPh 8).
