Description

Scope of the construction project: The feasibility study lists three variants, with the client favouring the variant of an extension/expansion building with renovation of the existing structure, which is described in more detail from page 52 onwards in the feasibility study. - The total usable floor area (NUF) is to be increased from 7,495.0 m² (AS IS) to 8,121.1 m² (TO BE). - A restructuring and centralisation of the Central Emergency Department (ZNA) and the Operating Theatre (OP) is planned in a three-storey extension building from the basement to the 1st floor, as well as a three-storey extension with nursing stations and therapy rooms. The two components of the feasibility study are to be implemented in one construction phase. - The nursing areas are to be restructured and centralised, in particular by replacing 19 three-bed rooms with single and double rooms with sanitary cells. The general nursing areas are to grow from 2,201.4 m² to 2,529.1 m² NUF. - The geriatrics department is to be centralised as a separate ward, with archive and technical central areas being converted into therapy rooms (4th floor/roof area) and growing from 629.7 m² to 982.0 m² NUF. - High importance is attached to climate protection and climate adaptation measures, dementia sensitivity and an integral approach. Even though a sustainability certificate is not being sought.
