Hamburg Energiewerke GmbH (HEnW) is a 100% municipal energy supplier. To achieve the climate goals of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the share of coal-based district heating is to be reduced from the current approximately 64% to zero by 2030. To this end, the "Tiefstack Transformation (TiTra)" program has been initiated. At the Heizkraftwerk (HKW) Tiefstack site, two hard coal-fired steam generators currently produce electricity and district heating in CHP operation. To decarbonise this site, the substitution of the fuel hard coal by natural gas (H-gas) is planned. Additionally, the steam generators should be able to be operated temporarily with heating oil EL (HEL low-sulphur according to DIN 51603-1). Contract Lot 2 "Fuel Supply" serves to create the fuel infrastructure required for gas or oil operation from the exit of the new gas pressure regulating and measuring system (GDRMA) to the burners, as well as to adapt the oil supply to the changed performance requirements.
