Under the WGA self-risk bearing scheme, the employer is directly responsible for financing the WGA benefits allocated to the employer (up to a maximum of 10 years after allocation). Furthermore, the reintegration obligation transfers from UWV to the employer upon allocation of a WGA benefit. To cover the risks associated with WGA self-risk bearing, the Contracting Authority wishes to conclude a WGA Self-Risk Bearing Insurance. This involves a private insurance for financing the WGA Fixed and WGA Flex benefits allocated to the employer. As of the reference date of 1 September 2026, the Contracting Authority has a total of 362 employees. The expected WIA wage sum in 2026 is approximately €20.5 million. To assess the risk and determine the conditions, the Tendering Service provides a secured Excel document with anonymised personnel data, sick leave records, and WIA inflow. This Excel file can be requested from the municipality of Oude IJsselstreek by submitting a request to the email address [email protected]. This Excel file will only be provided to interested parties with a permit from the AFM to conduct insurance business in accordance with the Financial Supervision Act (or comparable legislation and regulation abroad) and who offer a WGA self-risk bearing insurance in their product range.
