France – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Mise en sécurité des Galeries Nobles - Sorbonne 2026

The present project concerns the securing of the Sorbonne site, located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement of Paris. It focuses on eight noble galleries and two staircases that are located on the main circulation and evacuation routes, situated on the ground floor of each sector. Additionally, it includes the layout of a cafeteria and two toilet blocks, including PMR toilets. The objective of the works is to secure these spaces in accordance with the safety guidelines for fire safety of the master plan, updated in 2018 and validated by the Préfecture de Police. The project takes a cross-cutting approach, respecting the regulatory safety standards for fire safety and integrating possible devices (smoke extraction, ventilation, CF doors, fire detection, etc.) while considering the heritage and architectural value of the spaces.
