The HOCHBAHN intends to award the required general planning services for the new construction of a bus depot in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in stages. Planning services will be awarded for the following disciplines: Building Design Structural Design Technical Equipment Design Traffic Facilities Design Civil Engineering Works Design Landscaping Design Fire Protection Design Thermal Insulation and Energy Balancing The site to be planned, approximately 29,031 m² in size, is located in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, in the Stenzelring industrial area. According to the current operating concept, a bus depot for predominantly electric buses is to be created to optimise the operating sequence, expand the parking capacity and create the structural prerequisites for future drive and workshop concepts. General planning for the construction of a new bus depot based on the preliminary study BBO-M and its review and optimisation with the following structures according to the preliminary area and structural concept: Workshop hall 4 workshop lanes 1 lane for maintenance / service / refuelling 1 lane for maintenance / inspection pit 1 multifunctional lane administration / ancillary workshops Washing hall with technical area and covered bus parking for approx. 12 bus units incl. protective walls Covered bus parking with charging option for approx. 120 bus units, incl. protective walls Technical control centres for charging technology of battery buses incl. development on the roofs of the bus parking Administrative building / administration Parking deck for approx. 125 cars, plus parking for bicycles and motorcycles Transfer station 10kV Waste station Battery storage Sewerage and drainage systems Firewater cisterns Landscaping The preliminary study of the HOCHBAHN on the properties already acquired is shown in the site plan (Part A, Annex I) and designated there as "BBO-M". Possibly, at a later date, the property Stenzelring 27 can be acquired additionally. In this case, the project would be enlarged, as shown in the site plan (Part A, Annex I) as a preliminary study and designated there as "BBO-L". Therefore, in phase 1+2, a potential expansion of the bus parking as well as partial re-use of the bus parking next to the washing hall as a maintenance lane is to be planned conceptually. If the property is acquired during the planning phase 1+2, this concept according to the preliminary study BBO-L is to be developed. Content of the offered stage 2.
